At BPC we have a prayer team who are here to serve you. At BPC we believe that Jesus listens and acts on our prayers. We believe in praying
Prayer is not a mysterious practice reserved only for clergy and the religiously devout. Prayer is simply communicating with God—listening and talking to him. Believers can pray from the heart, freely, spontaneously, and in their own words.
Matthew 18:19-20 “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
James 5:13-18 “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. ..”
At BPC your prayer requests are kept entirely confidential from the web site, as we understand how sensitive these things are to you.
If you need prayer you can mail the office on office@bpc.org.za or you may call in at the church office. Please let us know how God has answered your prayers so we may remove the name from our list.
